The Problem:
Connecting a headless Raspberry Pi to a new Wi-Fi network can pose significant challenges. If your Mac or PC is already connected to the new network while the Raspberry Pi is on an old network that is no longer accessible, and you lack access to a monitor, keyboard, or mouse, the task becomes cumbersome. Additionally, sometimes the Raspberry Pi may be encased in an inaccessible enclosure.
The Solution:
The BTBerryWifi app offers a viable solution for connecting to your headless Raspberry Pi via Bluetooth. This application allows users to select from available Wi-Fi networks detected by the Raspberry Pi. Its user-friendly interface displays each network's SSID, connection strength, and whether it is secured or open. A simple tap on a desired network initiates the connection process. If the selected network is password-protected, the app will prompt for the required credentials, enabling immediate connectivity. Notably, users can also connect to hidden SSID networks. Once connected to any Wi-Fi network, the details are saved on the Raspberry Pi for future use.
Extra Features for Supporters:
The app provides encryption that secures network SSIDs and passwords from potential Bluetooth eavesdropping. Furthermore, it restricts access to the Raspberry Pi solely to those who possess a password, preventing unauthorized users with the app from connecting.

Users can access extensive details about their Raspberry Pi including:
- IPv4 and IPv6 addresses on the Wi-Fi network
- MAC addresses of Ethernet, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth adapters
- Signal strength (dBm) and channel/frequency of nearby networks, useful for managing interference
- User-defined information displayed directly from the Raspberry Pi on iPhone/iPad

- Installation Requirement: It is essential to first install the corresponding Python program on the Raspberry Pi for successful communication with the iPhone app. The open-source Python code can be easily obtained via an installation script.
